These scissors cut exactly the way it is described. I absolutely took my best pair of sewing scissors and tried to cut through three layers of denim. And it didn't work. These are the best scissors I've had so far - I've been sewing for 30 years. I wanted scissors that cut the edges of fabric - that had sharp points that connected to the tips. These are perfect!!! I will add a picture later. They are heavy, and 9.5" long. I'm really glad I bought these!
