does what it says. my only complaint is that it doesn't really hold my radio in secure. need a strap to go from the back to the front that is adjustable for taller radios that fasten to the fron of the pouch. so what I did was i took the elastic loop and ran my antenna through that and hos my radio secure.
without the extended battery, the radio sinks in al the way down. this is ok, but it makes it harder to use and with the fact that the radio is secured by the elastic band. remedy 1
use a hand-held mike to talk.Also, you will want to take the belt clip off of the radio.
but for the price the quality is very good and would recommend this
